I bought daylilies at K&A years ago and they're still going strong. I'd post a picture if it wasn't dark out.

They seem really bad, really early this year! Do you have any tips or remedies on reducing the population, besides picking them off? For the past few years I've been doing something I found online that *kind of* works. That involves picking them off, putting them into a water bottle. Once they're all dead, I set the water bottle in an effected tree/bush and the stink of the dead beetles is supposed to ward off others, especially when its warm. Stinky & time consuming, but I don't want them to kill off my landscaping!

My garden is getting eaten up pretty bad too. I pick off and squish and also spray, but this past week nothing is working! I also seem to have a huge army of snails and slugs!

Water mixed with hand sanitizer knocks them out in less than 10 seconds. Much better than dish soap and water. As much as I dislike these critters I hate waiting for them to drown. This is easier for me.

Omg!!!! They are literally the worst! It sucks how much damage they cause our yards! So many trees dead because of them! Its expensive damage repairs!!!

I know I shouldn't think this is funny because they are oh so annoying, but I'm laughing at "beetle brigaid".

It's a shame they're so destructive, because they really are pretty with that iridescence.

Trying to figure out who is on beetle brigade. Its best in my mind if its BK and Dyno but I know thats not true. :^)

Was this of my ridiculously full jar last night? Pro tip--they're slower when it's cool and rainy.

Annette how interesting
